On November 9th, CenterPoint Properties was named "Industrial Developer of the Year" at the 22nd Annual NAIOP Awards for Excellence!
CenterPoint Properties completed several noteworthy transactions this year, including two major portfolio transactions valued at over $63 million as well as commencing construction on the $183 million, 785-acre Union Pacific Joliet Intermodal Terminal. Despite facing a difficult market, the creativity of CenterPoint developers combined with the expertise of their partners allowed the company to execute these successful deals.
CenterPoint is honored to be the recipient of this award for three consecutive years! The nomination criteria for "Industrial Developer of the Year" is based on economic success, design functionality, scale and scope, and development challenges.
