CenterPoint is developing container/equipment management yards within its intermodal logistics centers to provide efficient ´on campus´ storage needs, and is also developing individual yards in key hubs across the country.  Our container yards are located in close proximity to critical transportation, including ports, rail and highways to reduce drayage costs and minimize demurrage penalties.

CenterPoint develops common-user facilities, operated by an experienced third party company, and can also provide direct lease opportunities to customers that wish to operate their own facility.  New yards are developed with state-of-the-art design, with special considerations for security requirements.  CenterPoint can also acquire or execute sale/leasebacks of existing container/equipment management facilities, with flexible lease options available to accommodate specific interests and working capital needs.
